A single harvest/single cask Madeira made by Barbeito using only Tinta Negra grapes
After bottling the tinta negra single harvest 1999 in 2012, winemaker Ricardo Diogo Freitas saved a part in two old 700 liter French oak casks. The extra ageing gives this single cask wine rich aromas, elegance and excelent acidity in perfect balance. Only 1541 bottles were made and individually numbered in september 2015. This single cask Madeira is made with 100% Tinta negra grapes.
