To explain the difference between Ruby and Tawny Port, Niepoort has introduced the twin Ruby Dum & Tawny Dee in Niepoortland.

Tawny Dee has aged a few months more in smaller oak barrels, which gives it a more tender character and length than Ruby Dum.

This Tawny keeps well for several years. After opening the bottle it stays tastefull for weeks / months.

Origin: Douro valley, Portugal
Grapes: Touriganacional, tinta cão, tinta roriz, tinta barroca, touriga francesca, tinta amarela. Age of the vines is approximately 30 years.

Serve at room temperature with Gruyère, Manchego, etc.
