Tawny Port with age indication by Niepoort
The low yielding vines are over 60 years old and are situated in Vale do Pinhao / Ferrao. The Tawnies age in small oak barrels for several years (average 10 years) to obtain the brick red tawny colour and fine taste. Master blender José Nogueira than creates a beautifully balanced 10 years old tawny.
